✓Current license to practice pharmacy in the State of Michigan (including a Controlled Substance license), verifiable through the State of Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, or eligibility to become licensed within 90 days of employment start date.
✓Current registration as a Registered Pharmacist by the Michigan State Board of Pharmacy is necessary.
✓Possession of a state narcotics license is necessary.

Prior infusion, oncology, or operating room pharmacy experience with sterile product preparation, including for both hazardous and non-hazardous medications, is desired preferred
MTM and/or immunization experience is desired preferred

Review, clarify, and processReview, clarify, and process medication orders in a timely manner while assuring appropriateness of therapy
Perform medication reconciliation onPerform medication reconciliation on each set of prescription orders to facilitate a smooth transition of care to the outpatient community setting
Provide patient counseling, MedicationProvide patient counseling, Medication Therapy Management (MTM) services, and administer immunizations
Provide functional supervision ofProvide functional supervision of technical staff working in their area, including completion of job assignments and assuring adherence to institutional policies and procedures
