Licensure
✓Eligibility for pharmacist licensure in the state(s) as determined by the scope of the position is required.
Board certification is preferred if certification relevant to the position is available.
Education
✓Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a college or school of pharmacy accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or equivalent required.
✓Completion of an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency program, and if available, a PGY2 program in an area relevant to the position are strongly preferred and may completely or partially fulfill the above experience requirements.
Qualifications
✓Three years of relevant pharmacy experience.
✓This individual should demonstrate in depth knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics, and understand pharmacy systems of drug distribution and formulary management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with others are required.
