Qualifications
✓Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to interact with other members of the healthcare team and with pharmacy leadership.
✓Strong organizational skills.
✓Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of pharmacy.
✓Thorough knowledge of pharmacy related state and federal laws.
✓Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
✓Ability to demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
✓Ability to demonstrate sound problem solving/decision making skills with practical, efficient, economical, and reasonable solutions.
✓Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
1-3 years PGY1 residency completion preferred
Proficiency with electronic health record software, Epic preferred.

About the role

The Clinical Pharmacist ("Pharmacist") under general supervision, supplies medications and other pharmaceuticals needed for adequate patient care according to professional standards and regulatory requirements. Educates patients and healthcare workers relative to drugs and medications usage, adverse drug reactions, side effects, contraindications, etc. according to professional standards.

Complies with established departmentalComplies with established departmental and DHHA policies and procedures, quality improvement, and safety initiatives
