About the role

Oversees the preparation and dispensing of medication, medication order verification, insures the monitoring of patient medication therapy. Acts as a resource for the provision of medication information for patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Identifies, recommends, resolves, and prevents medication-related problems through intervention with the physician.
