Currently recruiting an abdominal solid organ transplant clinical pharmacy specialist to join our growing transplant team of 4 abdominal transplant pharmacists, 2 cardiothoracic transplant pharmacists, and 1 VAD/heart transplant pharmacist.

This is a full-time dayshift position with primarily inpatient responsibilitiesa rotating weekend/holiday on-call assignment (averaging every 3-4 weeks). This Clinical Pharmacy Specialist position will support the adult liver, kidney, and pancreas transplant programs primarily on the inpatient side QualificationsMinimum Education and Experience

Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy. PharmD or equivalent education and hospital or ambulatory training / experience required, based on practice area of the position. PGY2 residency or equivalent experience required.

PGY 2 residency training is preferred. Two to four years-experience in a relevant practice area will be considered equivalent to each year of residency training. Board certification is preferred.

Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff, pharmacy residents, and students is required. Knowledge and understanding of general hospital and outpatient clinic operations.

Ability to integrate clinical services, and educational activities is required. Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered pharmacist in Florida or eligible for same Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Will operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose as a non-frequent driver.
