You’ll need
Licensure
✓Board certification or equivalent specialty certification within 2 years
✓Current and up-to-date licensure and certification.
Certifications
✓Virginia licensed or eligible for reciprocity is required
✓Maintains full credentialing
✓BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved is required. * New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation.
Education
✓PharmD degree required
Qualifications
✓2-3 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting is required
✓Specialty Residency in field of expertise PGY2 OR Minimum experience of 3-5 years in a relevant clinical pharmacy setting (Other combinations of formal education, training, and experience may be considered.)
✓Must be knowledgeable about medications, their pharmacology and dosage ranges for use in neonatal, pediatrics, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients
✓Keyboarding skills required
Pharmacy Practice Residency or PGY1 preferred
Experience with computerized pharmacy systems preferred
