About the role

Duties Description South Beach Psychiatric Center (SBPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility is recruiting a Physician to serve as a Clinical Physician 2 and provide medical care to individuals with mental illness. Candidates from outside or within State Service can apply. As a Clinical Physician 2 at South Beach Psychiatric Center, you will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Your duties will include:
Providing clinical consultation for individuals with complex medical diagnoses.
Reviewing admission referral packets for medical clearance.
Providing clinical supervision to lower-level physicians and other medical providers.
Consulting with other licensed physicians and healthcare providers on diagnoses and treatment plans.
Communicating with local hospitals when SBPC patients are in their care.
Participating in discharge planning.
Additional administrative duties as assigned.
