We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Student Intern Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. This internship is designed for students currently enrolled in a Master’s level program (Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy) who are seeking to complete their practicum or internship hours in an acute behavioral health setting. Job Duties/Responsibilities: You will gain hands-on experience working with a diverse patient population experiencing acute mental health crises, substance use disorders, and complex behavioral challenges.
Under the direct supervision of a licensed professional (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT), you will transition from observation to leading clinical interventions. Currently enrolled in an accredited Master’s degree program in Social Work (MSW), Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
Completion of core clinical coursework and approval from the university’s internship coordinator. License: N/A Additional
Timely renewal of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (Basic Life Support) for healthcare professional’s certification, annual professional skills verification, and HWC (Handle with Care) behavioral management certification.
