Qualifications
✓Four (4)+ years of clinical experience, including at least two (2) years of experience in the specialty area for the position
✓Two (2)+ years of experience in a leadership role (including Charge Nurse, Team Lead, or RN IV level at UAMS)
✓The Clinical Specialist functions independently to provide theory and evidence-based knowledge that shapes the practice and core competencies for the unit nursing and patient care staff.
✓The Clinical Specialist collaborates with the multidisciplinary team and functions in the healthcare system as a leader, consultant, and change agent and, therefore, must possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.
