St. Mary’s Medical Center seeks a full-time Clinical Support CMA/LPN to work at Scott Orthopedic. The position will maintain a high quality of effectiveness and will provide assistance as necessary to co-workers and patients through an office oriented environment Candidates should anticipate a high volume of in-person and telephone interaction with patients, employees and co-workers.
As such a pleasant personality is essential for this position. Applicants will be expected to maintain a professional demeanor and positively represent the Hospital at all times Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Accurately and thoroughly document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician. Answering phones & Making appointments Greeting & interacting with patients & customers Initial patient screenings Pulling and filing patient charts Taking blood pressure & medical histories Assisting doctors Calling or faxing prescriptions Giving injections or drawing blood Qualifications To be considered, candidates must have their active Medical Assistant certification or active WV LPN License.
