Clinical Team Lead Job (RN), Monday-Friday various shifts, Oncology Powers Health is hiring a Clinical Team Lead for Oncology to work days and evenings at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. The goal of the Medical Oncology department is to provide continuous, efficient care to patients requiring services for cancer or hematologic diseases. The department is dedicated to supportive services that meet the needs of the patient population served in the least obtrusive way possible.

In addition to the duties, responsibilities and expectations outlined in the Staff Nurse
, the Clinical Team Leader is responsible and accountable for assessing, planning, organizing, directing and supervising unit activities under the direction of the Nurse Manager. Help support and develop new initiatives on Oncology. Provide clinical and administrative support structure for the units.
Engage the staff in quality improvement and guide in staff development and process change. Support new and current care programs by participating in unit council and providing continued clinical input.

Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Indiana Bachelor Degree Preferred Previous management experience a plus Minimum of 5 years clinical experience, 10 years preferred Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills Required self-direction, leadership, delegation and teaching ability Communicates tactfully and effectively with physicians, patients, families, nursing staff and other hospital departments and the public.
Current BLS provider Certification in specialty area required or earns within one year of accepting the position.
