You’ll need
Licensure
✓NJ Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Professional Counselor License or Marriage and Family Therapy,Professional Counselor.
✓Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
Education
✓Master`s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Master's degree in Addiction/ Counseling, or a related field.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of two years of post-licensure work experience in the same field.
✓Ability to perform psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
✓Knowledge of crisis intervention theory, its application in a variety of settings, as well as knowledge of disease management and disease process and differential diagnoses, and treatment techniques.
✓Knowledge in biomedical/medical client education as well as psychopharmacology/physiology of addiction.
✓Ability to work as part of a team, while building collaborative relationships.
✓Must possess excellent follow through and attention to detail.
✓Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
✓Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Ability to provide guidance/mentorship to other team members. preferred

About the role
The Clinical Therapist II, LCADC treats patients by utilizing a variety of modalities as a member of the multidisciplinary clinical treatment team. Also provides psychological/social interventions that support patients and families relating to behavioral health with primary mental health, substance use and/or co-occurring disorders.
