Education
✓Master's Degree Required in a clinical area.
Qualifications
✓Must have valid driver's license, registration, current inspection sticker and insured auto.
✓Eligibility for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) designation.
✓Knowledge and understanding of the characteristics of individuals with mental health issues, their families, and family systems.
✓Ability to interpret and apply regulatory agency requirements and regulations.
✓Proficiency in clinical mental health and substance use treatment principles, including assessment, diagnosis (DSM-5-TR) and therapeutic interventions.
✓Knowledge of evidence-based models of care and recovery-oriented treatment approaches.
✓Skilled in crisis intervention techniques and risk assessment.
✓Understanding of trauma-informed care.
✓Comprehensive knowledge of community resources, including housing, shelter, social services, and healthcare systems.
✓Strong clinical interviewing and assessment skills.
✓Proficient in developing and implementing treatment plans.
✓Crisis management and de-escalation skills.
✓Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse populations.
✓Time management and organizational skills to balance administrative and clinical responsibilities.
✓Problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced and complex situations.
✓Able to build and maintain trusting, therapeutic relationships with clients.

Minimum 3 to 5 Years of experience working with individuals with behavioral health diagnoses in a community support setting, preferably in a supervisory role. preferred
About the role
The Providence Center Clinical Therapist Lead Child and Family Services (CCBHC) performs all duties of a Clinical Therapist in addition to supporting team members with less experience. The role supervises daily operations of the team, which may serve individuals and families experiencing chronic homelessness and other diverse populations.
