Cloud Engineer - Azure

Lee Health is seeking an innovative Cloud Engineer to design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing cloud systems that power our digital and AI transformation. In this role, you’ll architect and manage cloud infrastructure across private, public, and hybrid environments—enabling advanced data management, automation, and application deployment. Collaborating with IT, AI, and data science teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and optimizing cloud environments for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cognitive computing initiatives.

Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across private, public, and hybrid environments Support automation for source control, deployment pipelines, and configuration management Oversee cloud migration, usage monitoring, troubleshooting, and compliance assurance Serve as a liaison between infrastructure and development teams to deliver resilient cloud solutions Partner with AI team members to build environments suited for rapid prototyping and AI-driven projects Develop and implement disaster recovery strategies to ensure uninterrupted service WHAT YOU'LL NEED Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of degree Experience 2+ years building and supporting private and hybrid cloud environments 2+ years in a customer-facing technical specialist role covering cloud concepts, design, and solutions Experience building highly automated cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code (IaC) Strong scripting/programming skills in Shell, PowerShell, or Python Working knowledge of IAM, network segmentation, data encryption, logging, monitoring, and cloud-native security controls Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps practices and core computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms) Exposure to frameworks like TensorFlow and deep learning concepts
