You’ll need
Certifications
✓Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) required.
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
Qualifications
✓Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and clinical software.
✓Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
✓Ability to triage patient concerns and escalate appropriately.
✓Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
✓Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
✓Consistently professional in demeanor and appearance.
✓Attention to accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
✓Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach.
✓Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds.
✓Must follow established safety procedures and protocols.
✓Demonstrated clinical competency and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
✓Must be able to work independently in a high-paced environment.
Minimum of one year experience in an outpatient or physician practice setting preferred.
