Licensure
✓LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE
✓Current Licensed Practical Nurse License recognized by the State of Iowa Board of Nursing.
Certifications
✓Successful completion of medical assistant education with a CAAHEP or ABHES accredited program and certification with the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (RMA), or National Association for Health Professionals (NRCMA) within 6 months of hire.
✓Current CMA certification with the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA), or National Healthcareer Association (CCMA) and completion of a medical assistant education program approved by Broadlawns Medical Center.
✓Staff continuously employed in a CMA position with Broadlawns Medical Center as of September 1, 2025, will maintain qualifications as listed at the time of hire.
✓Ability to successfully pass Basic Life Support Certification (Health Care Provider), if not already current with certification, prior to providing care independently.

✓Ability to satisfactorily complete Broadlawns Medical Center Pharmacology requirements prior to providing care independently.
