This position is open to Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) , OR Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) .

Responsibilities Support providers and clinical teams by preparing patients for exams, treatments, and minor procedures, including obtaining vital signs and assisting with in-clinic workflows. Perform clinical tasks within scope such as administering medications and vaccines, collecting lab specimens, drawing blood, placing urinary catheters, and supporting specialty services (e.g., EKGs and cardiac testing support in cardiology settings).
Deliver patient education using evidence-based methods and ensure high-quality, timely care. Coordinate referrals, lab orders, and follow-up care to support continuity of care. Maintain accurate electronic health record documentation, complete required forms with appropriate coding , and manage tracking systems for ongoing patient monitoring and test follow-up.
Stay engaged in clinic operations through meetings, communications, and organizational updates. Maintain compliance with OSHA, CLIA, HIPAA, and organizational policies while demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, reliable attendance, and a strong commitment to patient experience and quality improvement. Qualifications Valid and current licensure/certification in one of the following: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Active/Unencumbered LPN license in state of practice or compact license including state of practice.
OR Graduate of an accredited program for Medical Assistants (Certificate, diploma, or Associate’s Degree) required. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant through one of the following required: National Healthcare Association American Association of Medical Assistants National Center for Competency Testing National Certified Medical Assistant National Association of Health Professionals American Registry of Medical Assistants American Allied Health American Medical Technologists Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred Familiarity with EPIC is a plus!
