You’ll need
Certifications
✓Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized in the United States.
✓Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
✓The CNA uses strong interpersonal skills daily to build trust and rapport with patients, ensuring their comfort and emotional well-being.
CPR and First Aid certification. preferred
Additional certifications related to patient care or specialized populations (e.g., geriatrics, pediatrics). preferred
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
✓Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.
✓Attention to detail is critical when monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to nursing staff to support timely medical interventions.
✓Physical stamina and dexterity are essential for assisting patients with mobility and personal care tasks safely.
✓Effective communication skills facilitate collaboration with healthcare team members and clear documentation of patient information.
✓Familiarity with healthcare protocols and infection control practices ensures a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Experience working in a healthcare or long-term care facility. preferred
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. preferred
