You’ll need
Licensure
✓Must be active as a CNA on the IL Health Care Worker Registry.
Certifications
✓Current CNA certification required.
✓BLS Required within 30 days of hire and must be maintained throughout employment at CGH.
Education
✓H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
Qualifications
✓May chart on behalf of the provider when in the exam room. Chart note to include name, title, date and time of the entry. Chart must then be signed off on by the provider.
✓Demonstrates competencies in nursing assistant skills based on current scientific knowledge.
✓Demonstrates knowledge necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the patients served in the physician office. Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development appropriate to the patient population served.
Experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Basic computer knowledge preferred.
