and Responsibilities As our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Nursing Unit Secretary, you will provide essential direct and indirect nursing care under the proficient direction of a Registered Nurse, aligning with established policies and procedures to optimize your skills and contribute to our patient-centered mission. Monitors the electronic record for new providerentered orders and coordinates their completion with nursing staff and other departments as appropriate. Utilizes computer technology to access and exchange data, such as lab results and interdepartmental communications.
Accurately documents vital signs, input/output, nutritional intake, personal hygiene, weights, and other patient care performed, reporting findings promptly to the Registered Nurse and maintaining thorough and confidential patient charts and records. Performs clerical duties, maintains department/unit logs, and coordinates services as needed. Greets patients/visitors and directs or escorts them to the desired location.
Provides quality patient care, including comfort and hygiene measures, preventative skin care, safety measures, transport, and nutritional and elimination needs. Job Requirements Required High School Diploma/G. E.
D. Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program State registered CNA license Preferred Six (6) months previous CNA or healthcare experience
