and Responsibilities As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you will be a cornerstone of patient care, directly contributing to comfort, safety, and recovery by providing essential support under RN direction. Performs the above duties as well as lifting, moving, positioning and transporting of patients while using proper techniques and/or equipment. Measurements: Observation, Feedback, Equipment condition, Variance reports In addition to those listed in 1.1 above, demonstrates basic skills including, but not necessarily limited to: Patient hygiene (bathing, grooming, oral and perineal care, back rubs); Documentation of baseline data (vital signs, intake and output), Knowledge of mobility and precautions for orthopedic patients; Skin care for immobilized patients; Infection control & prevention.
