Coding Auditor - ProfessionalJob DescriptionCoder Auditor-Professionals are responsible for auditing of coding assignment with providers and coders, training of coding professional staff, pro-fee based coding includes the assignment of Assigns ICD-CM, CPT, HCPCS codes, E&M assignment, modifiers, and charge posting.
Interacts with medical staff, nursing, ancillary departments, provider offices, and outside organizations. Analyze and confirm assignedencounters for provider’sselection of EM code levelutilizing EM code levelselection auditing tool areaccurate. Analyze andconfirm assigned encountersfor coder’s selection ofdiagnoses and procedurescodes are accurate., Reviews record thoroughly toascertain alldiagnoses/procedures. Codesall diagnoses/procedures inaccordance to ICD-CM and CPTcoding principles, officialguidelines and regulations., Trains new coding staff oncoding systems and processes.
