✓As a Coding Specialist 3, you will serve as a subject matter expert in professional fee coding for Neurosurgery, applying advanced coding knowledge to highly complex surgical, procedural, and Evaluation & Management services.
✓This role requires a strong understanding of clinical documentation, regulatory requirements, and payer expectations, with a focus on quality, accuracy, and compliance.
✓Independently review, code, validate, and audit complex Neurosurgery surgical procedures, office-based procedures, inpatient encounters, and E/M services
✓Analyze provider documentation to ensure complete and compliant code assignment utilizing CPT, ICD-10-CM, modifier usage, and payer-specific guidelines
✓5+ years of relevant coding experience required.
