This position is hybrid out of Pennsauken, NJ.
Provides management and support to personnel in Reimbursement Services by having direct responsibility for the assigned portion of the accounts receivable, including the timely and accurate production of bills along with the collection of outstanding invoices and claims. Responsible for the direct supervision of staff within the assigned unit. Additional responsibilities will include maintenance of the accounts receivable and accuracy of all transactions.

Demonstrates and communicates the core values of BAYADA Home Health Care and The BAYADA Way. Responsible for the development of a well-qualified subordinate staff to support the billing and collections activities. Manages and assures timely production and submittal of invoices/claims through effective supervision of billing and collection staff.
Reviews new payer contracts and updates system and internal procedures to accommodate contractual terms. Fosters a teamwork concept. Instills accountability in team members and promotes trust.
Reports on quality assurance and internal audit of the assigned portion of the accounts receivable. Participates in completing performance evaluations and Talent Development Program with the director according to BAYADA policy. Establishes relationships with third party payers to assist in the collection of accounts and develop routine billing procedures.
Assists and advises service office directors regarding payer issues and billing/collection problems. Maintains a continuing program for the review and revision of the organization’s receivable systems to ensure they are effective and reliable and meet current third party requirements. Represents the organization to various other organizations, payer sources.
Oversees and identifies trends and new developments with assigned payers and the industry. Establishes quality and quantity goals for the department. Monitors progress against standards.
Recommends, develops, promotes and implements improvements to current methodologies. Advises the director on trends, problems and issues related to the assigned portion of the accounts receivable. Demonstrates solid performance or exceeds performance standards in key job dimensions/attributes as defined on the Performance Appraisal for Office Staff, 0-3240.
Performs related duties, or as required or requested by supervisor. OTHER
Analyzes remittances, collection logs, write-offs/write-ons and transfers for proper posting and assures the integrity of all transactions. Assists with new software installation and recommends modifications as appropriate. Enforces credit policy.
Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of all client and employee files as appropriate. Review new bill to entries and correct as necessary. Add rate tables as needed.
Presents a professional appearance. Maintains acceptable standards of attendance, punctuality, dependability, productivity.
