You’ll need
Education
✓A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, marketing, public relation or related degree
Qualifications
✓Three or more years of experience in communications, media relations, marketing, journalism, public relations or related roles
✓Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
✓Strong organizational as well as interpersonal, written, verbal communications skills
✓Exceptional attention to detail
✓This is a full-time in-office position (in the Communications office)
Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred
Experience working in a higher education setting preferred
Experience working in a large, complex organization preferred
Proficiency with content management systems, such as WordPress; email distribution platforms, such as ContactMonkey; media monitoring tools, such as Muck Rack; and project management tools preferred

About the role
Under the direction of the Senior Director of Communications and working closely with the Director of Internal Communications, the Communications Coordinator plays an important role in supporting enterprise-wide communications initiatives across internal and executive communications, with additional support provided to media relations and reputation and incident management functions.
