Schedule PRN: Pharmacy Hours are Mon-Fri 9 am- 8 pm and Sat/Sun 9 am- 5 pm. Scheduled hours will vary based on business needs. General Summary Fills routine orders for unit doses and prepackaged pharmaceuticals and performs other related duties.
Assists pharmacists as directed including filling orders and preparing labels. Assists patient, taking prescription, necessary information, etc. Operates cash register.
Delivers medications as needed. Submits and receives orders from suppliers. Enters and/or retrieves data from established computer files using knowledge of various computer software applications.
Assists with I. V. preparation and delivery. Position shares responsibility with other team members for daily delivery of patient medications to a Script Center in Mt.
Gretna, PA. (Applies only to staff working at Good Samaritan Pharmacy location only; Department 43514). If hired as a Registered Pharmacy Technician Trainee, must acquire the Registered Pharmacy Technician prior to expiration of the Trainee registration.

Qualifications Minimum
High School Diploma or GED Required Work
No experience. Required Previous customer service experience. Preferred Licenses: Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required or Registered Pharmacy Technician Trainee Upon Hire Required
