Variable Schedule. We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Computed Tomography Technologist to join our imaging team. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care.
Under general supervision, the Computed Tomography Technologist performs professional duties in the application of Computerized Tomography (CT) and Diagnostic Radiology services. This position demonstrates proficiency in performing all CT and general radiology exams, administering contrast media, and providing related patient care services in accordance with established standards and protocols. Responsibilities Job Performance Correctly performs all prescribed CT procedures in an efficient Correctly performs all prescribed Radiology procedures in an efficient manner Can work independently and critique exams. Demonstrates competency in preparing patients for procedures and the administration of contrast media.

Can navigate working in CT and X-ray during assigned shiftUtilizes good judgment to plan effectively and solve problems Patient Care Provides patient education as needed for exam and ensures all consents and forms are signed prior to exam/procedure as indicated. Demonstrates competence in age-appropriate care coordination Obtains and records patient history and interprets physician orders correctly Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology with equivalent training and experience as required by the licensing bodies.
1-2 years in General Radiology. Previous CT experience is preferred License(s)/Certification(s): The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in both Radiology and CT. Holds a current license or conditional license from the State of Illinois Emergency Management Agency and/or the Iowa Department of Public Health.
CPR certification. Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.
