You’ll need
Licensure
✓Completion of residency training in psychiatry and board eligible
✓MD or DO licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners (OBME) and board certification/eligibility in Psychiatry
Certifications
✓BLS: Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association (AHA) required upon start
✓Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges this includes but is not limited to, holding position-specific certifications/memberships as determined by Asante Medical Staff team
✓Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs

Education
✓Clinical experience in hospital and community psychiatry in residency program required
✓Graduate of an approved medical school and completion of residency training in Psychiatry
Qualifications
✓Ability to address clinical problems by analyzing, synthesizing, and interpreting information through the use of creative and critical thinking skills while maintaining the human dignity in those we serve
✓Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in hospital's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in hospital and community psychiatry is preferred. New graduates will be considered.
