. Maintains utmost level of confidentiality at all times. Adheres to hospital policies and procedures.

Demonstrates business practices and personal actions that are ethical and adhere to corporate compliance and integrity guidelines. Reviews production sheets to determine type and quantities of meats, vegetables, soups, and desserts to be prepared. Prepares foods in accordance to diet restrictions when applicable.

Follows standardized recipes when preparing foods. Assists in procuring needed items from designated areas. Cooks on grill areas of the cafeteria during meal service as assigned.

Ensures food will be ready for specified mealtimes by following cooking schedules. Confers with Supervisor and/or Dietitians regarding modified diet preparations. Sets up patient trayline and cafeteria lines according to menu combinations and assist on patient trayline as needed.

Maintains cooking area in a clean and orderly manner. Follows sanitation procedures in all food preparations. Notifies Head Chef and/or Coordinator with any food shortages.

Completes special cleaning assignments. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and/or

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations. Food Handlers Permit
