We have med-surge hospital licensure plus residential medical campus to serve our unique patients’ needs and requirements. Including therapy animals that provide daily interaction with our patients, including rabbits, dogs and goats! Our Medical Team is NOT contracted, but are staff members. We have a triple boarded Medical Director in pediatrics, psychiatry and child psychiatry), a Pediatric Doctor, and 2 Nurse Practitioners. Our cohesive multidisciplinary teams, including medical staff, nurses, dietitians, case managers, therapists, and behavioral health counselors, that use creative treatment approaches to guide our patients to live a more independently and productively. We even have a year round accredited school system for our patients! Qualifications Cumberland Hospital for Children and Adolescents is a unique acute care, inpatient specialty hospital with 110 licensed beds, including Med Surg. and Residential Treatment Center; staffed by the finest physicians and treatment teams. 22 who have chronic illnesses, brain injuries and neurobehavioral disorders with co-behavioral issues.
