Kapi'olani Medical Specialists (KMS) is a specialty physician group dedicated to caring for Hawai'i's women and children through excellence in academics, physician training, medical research and clinical care. The group is comprised of over 100 Specialists, Nurse Practitioners and other staff, covering newborn to women's health services at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children. KMS operates exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes, offering highly specialized care options at Kapi'olani and building support for these services within Hawai'i as a whole.
The group’s specialty areas include: Neurology, Orthopedics, Genetics, Adolescent Medicine, Otolaryngology, Behavioral Health Services, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, Pediatric Intensive Care, Family Medicine and the full spectrum of Pediatric Specialties. Its Women's specialists include Breast and General Surgery, Adult Hospitalists and GYN Oncology. As Hawai‘i's premier maternity specialty hospital, Kapi‘olani opened the Fetal Diagnostic Center in 1990.
It is the state's first obstetrical center to provide comprehensive diagnostic services for pregnant women. Our staff is comprised of Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists (physicians with specialized training and experience in the care of pregnant women and their fetuses, including high-risk pregnancies), technologists, genetic counselors and clinical nurses, all of whom are committed to helping our patients have the healthiest baby possible in a caring and nurturing environment.
As the Clinical Operations Coordinator, you will bring essential oversight and leadership to manage staff activities and daily operations at our Hawaii Womens Healthcare department. Your responsibilities will include providing training to improve the facility staff’s clinical proficiency in their assigned tasks, and helping to improve patient flow and revenue cycle management processes. We are looking for someone dynamic and dedicated, with great organizational and communication skills and a commitment to creating a healthier Hawaii.

Associate’s Degree in Business or health related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or related work experience. Two (2) years of progressive revenue cycle related work experience in a health care setting.
Bachelor’s Degree. Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding. EPIC Master Scheduling experience.
