You’ll need
Education
✓High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of Optime scheduling, medical terminology, and spelling
✓Knowledge of instrumentation and equipment specific to procedures to avoid scheduling conflicts.
✓Skill in maintaining schedules and records and organizing work to ensure time frames are met.
✓Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
✓Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
✓Ability to listen and accurately interpret others’ communication or instructions to take appropriate action.
✓Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
✓Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
✓Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
✓Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Two (2) years of experience maintaining schedules or healthcare files and records; preferably in an acute care setting. preferred
