Certifications
✓Pre-Certification: Complete all required insurance authorizations and follow-up as needed to obtain coverage for the needed level of care.
Education
✓Master's degree in social work, Counseling or related field.
Qualifications
✓Complete assigned departmental competencies and continuing education requirements as assigned and within the timeframe required.
✓10.. Patient care: Operate as part of an interdisciplinary team in the emergency department providing direct patient interventions and clinical care in coordination with nursing, medical and behavioral health team.
✓Service Line Support: Assist and complete assessments, authorizations and discharge planning for additional Crisis sites remotely as requested
✓Collaborate and coordinate with departmental leadership
✓Other Tasks Which May be Required: As outlined in specific departmental guidelines and procedures
✓State of NJ LSW/LAC Required
✓Per Diem position requiring 3 shifts/month, one of which must be on the weekends. Shifts are 8 hours in length, minimally, unless otherwise identified.
State of NJ LPC/LCSW preferred
