✓ARRT (R) Registered required
✓ARRT (CT) Registered required
✓BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required
✓New hires must have American Heart Association (AHA) appropriate certification prior to completion of orientation
Education
✓Graduate of AMA accredited program in radiologic technology required
✓Associates degree in radiologic technology required
Bachelor’s degree in radiologic technology preferred
Qualifications
✓Must demonstrate high level knowledge in CT image quality, safety, and protocols required
✓Must demonstrate high level of human cross-sectional anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology and medical terminology
✓Maintains a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques
✓Competency in performing examinations and procedures on patients of all ages required
✓Demonstrates good working knowledge of PACS, HIS, RIS, department protocols and VH policies required
✓Excellent leadership and communication skills required
✓Expertise in the operation of CT scan equipment with attention to detail, understanding of computer technology, ability to work in a stressful environment with the ability to follow directions/instructions from supervisor
✓Consistent attendance is required to assure that patient needs are met
✓Must meet the Medical Imaging Tech professional ladder level III criteria

2 years clinical experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting preferred
