Our CT Team is growing! We are looking for a CT Special Procedures Tech to join our team on a per-dem basis. Our per diems work all shifts (day, evening, overnights).
Ideal candidate would be available in the evening (2pm or later), overnight and available for weekend coverage. Interested in learning more about our team?
Provides Diagnostic imaging of specific body part for the purpose of medical interpretation and/or treatment. Job Duties and
- Demonstrates the positioning of patients, setting appropriate technical factors, and uses appropriate algorithms for processing images and maintains levels at/or below National Repeat Ratios
- Produces routine and complex radiographic Computed Tomography images without direct supervision. Assist physicians as necessary to obtain images needed to produce diagnostic results:
- Demonstrates ability to manage exams and workflows
- Demonstrates maximum amount of patient comfort while undergoing CT procedures .
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Graduate of a two-year program in Radiologic Technology at an AMA and CAHEA approved school. Related Work
A minimum of one year’s hospital experience working as a CT Tech. Licensure/Certification: NJ DEP License in Diagnostic Radiography required American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R) & (CT) required. Venipuncture / Phlebotomy Certification required.
