When you join us as an CT Steering Technologist you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes. You Will: Produces high quality CT diagnostic images from a remote location with the help of a Virtual Tech Assistant or registered XR or CT technologists in need of training .
Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols. Ensure release of patient with proper follow-up information via the Virtual Tech Assistant . Produce high quality images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
Monitor patient's well-being during scans via cameras and through feedback from Virtual Tech Assistant ; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action. Assures patient safety by reviewing screening for implants with the Virtual Tech Assistant prior to the patient entering the CT room using time out procedure. Demonstrates good judgment when correlating patient history and scanning protocols.
Knows when to divert from routine scans and/or when to enlist assistance from radiologist to achieve high quality diagnostic images. Will remotely perform scans on multiple CT scanners simultaneously in some instances. Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
