Position Highlights Work location: Texas Health Neighborhood Care and Wellness - Burleson Work environment: Radiology CT Scan Services Work hours: PRN Variable Shifts Rotating weekends and holidays Here's What You Need Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology (required) or Associate Degree (preferred) 1 year radiologic technologist experience without ARRT-CT (required) or No experience with ARRT-CT (required) ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R) (required) and ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) (required) or ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) (if 1 year radiology technician exp) within 12 Months (required) and CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologists Sonography by TDH or TMB (required) and BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care (required)

• A Texas Health CT Tech is responsible for explaining procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to and during exam, imaging correct anatomical area of interest and pathology according to department protocols, and performing complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations. In addition to the required qualifications, a successful CT Tech will Position requires technologist to perform both Diagnostic and CT Imaging to Emergency Room patients Patient ages served varies from infancy to geriatric. process and manipulate images, analyze image quality, troubleshoot, make technique adjustments or repeat procedures as needed. correctly send and transfer images to PACS. assess and recognize the patient’s emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions. operate, care for and maintain equipment. prepare room for examination (i.e. suction, oxygen, supplies). administer contrast media and other medications in accordance with medication administration guidelines. maintain equipment and room to sanitary standards between patients (injectors, table tops, floors).
