As a CT Technologist, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety of patients by providing accurate computed tomography imaging. You will perform scans for a high-volume outpatient department, with the potential to see up to 40 patients in eight hours.

A caregiver in this position works days, 8:00am—4:30pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will: Acquire patients chart data/requisition and review both to determine correct room set-up and learn of any specific medical problems and contraindications to the study. Verify that the study being ordered correlates to the diagnostic needs. Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment and exam to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Maintain all aspects of the CT area, including the technical and clerical components, to ensure proper quality assurance results and any required documentation.
