As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you’ll play an important role in providing exceptional patient care while supporting physicians with high-quality diagnostic imaging. You’ll prepare and position patients, operate advanced CT equipment, and work alongside an experienced team of imaging professionals in a collaborative environment. What You’ll DoPrepare and position patients for CT procedures while prioritizing their safety, comfort, and individual needs. Operate CT equipment to obtain accurate, high-quality diagnostic images. Collaborate with physicians and fellow team members to support excellent patient care.

Maintain accurate patient records and required documentation. Follow all applicable safety standards and Novant Health’s “First Do No Harm” philosophy. Provide compassionate, professional care while adapting to patients’ age- and condition-specific needs.

QualificationsEducationRequired: Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiography Program or ARRT/NMTCB-recognized Nuclear Medicine Program. Preferred: Associate Degree. ExperiencePreferred: One (1) year of CT experience.

Licensure & CertificationRequired: Certified and registered by ARRT in CT (RT(R)(CT) or RT(N)(CT)) or CNMT, RT(CT) — required or obtained within 6 months of hire. Required: IV credentialing. Required: Applicable state license.

Required: Life Support Training per Novant Health policy (NH-HR-3096). Additional SkillsStrong analytical and computer skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Ability to adapt to patient age and condition-specific needs. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
