Culinary Call Center Associate - Culinary/Nutrition

Job Details Kettering Health Main Campus | Kettering | PRN/Resource | Varied Shifts Responsibilities & Requirements The Culinary Call Center Associate supports patient care by accurately processing meal orders, assisting patients with menu selections that align with dietary restrictions, and providing excellent customer service. This role ensures patient safety and satisfaction by collaborating with clinical and culinary teams to deliver meals that meet individual nutritional needs.

Performs other duties as assigned. All job responsibilities are to be carried out in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program. Required

High school diploma or equivalent. Required Work

One year of customer service, administrative support, or call center experience

Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to use food service or call center software for order entry and record-keeping Basic understanding of nutrition and dietary restrictions Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to handle confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA Customer service orientation Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and culinary staff Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Competencies: Employee uses PPE per Culinary and Nutrition Care policy Employee provides excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, per KHN standards Employee washes hands per KHN policy

Preferred Work

Experience in a healthcare call center or food service environment Preferred Licenses, Certifications, and Registrations: ServSafe Certification
