Evening Shift Key Responsibilities Answer and manage incoming calls to the main telephone numbers for ChristianaCare hospital campuses. Respond to all emergency (911) phone lines and follow established procedures for more than 20 emergency medical code notifications, including: Code Blue Trauma Alert/Code Heart Alert/Code Code Delta Internal Emergency notifications Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, caregivers, and the public.
Answer TTY calls and provide assistance to members of the community. Assess emergency calls and dispatch information appropriately according to policies and procedures. Provide directions and facility information to patients, visitors, and community members.
Maintain professionalism and accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Education High school diploma or GED required. Experience Minimum of two (2) years of customer service experience required. Previous call center experience preferred.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during emergency situations. $19.48 - $28.24 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
