** Prepare and maintain interventional labs and equipment for cardiovascular procedures. Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular interventions. Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes during procedures.

Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols. Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required. BLS certification is required. ACLS certification is preferred, but the employee has one year to obtain the certification if the ACLS is a first time endeavor.

Certification from the ARRT as an RT(R)(CV), RT(R)(CI) or RT(R)(VI) and licensure by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist OR Certification from the CIC for RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) is required or must be obtained within 24 months of employment.
