You’ll need
Certifications
✓Hold Cytotechnologist certification through an agency approved by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), such as the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
Education
✓Hold a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
✓Be a graduate of a Cytotechnology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) or its recognized successor.

✓To be considered for this Cytotechnologist opportunity, you must:
✓Meet all education and experience requirements established by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments (CLIA) of 1988 and New Jersey Department of Health regulations.
✓Meet any applicable grandfathering provisions as outlined in 42 CFR 493.1483.
Previous experience performing cytology screening and Rapid On-Site Evaluation (ROSE) procedures is preferred.
