In this Cytotechnologist job, you'll work independently in our Anatomical & Pathology (A&P) lab, performing
including specimen collection, processing, staining, and preliminary microscopic evaluation. You’ll also support clerical, safety, and quality improvement initiatives alongside a small, collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in specimen processing and some background in microscopic interpretation.
At Baptist Health, cytotechnologists play a critical role in early disease detection and accurate diagnosis, directly impacting patient outcomes. This Cytotechnologist must be licensed in the State of Florida before hire. As a Cytotechnologist, your responsibilities will include: Maintaining expertise in collection, processing, staining and microscope interpretation of cytologic specimens.
