Title: Cytotechnologist Facility: Mease Countryside Hospital (* Occasional travel to other BayCare facilities may be required for coverage)
Full Time
7:30AM – 4:00PM Weekend Work: Occasional On Call: No
Perform cytotechnology testing. Assisting with the preparation of cytology specimens and fine needle aspirations. Classifying and evaluating specimens and referring cases to pathologists.
Maintaining laboratory equipment, supplies and instrumentation. Performing other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in a related field (Bachelor's degree requirement may be waived if certified prior to 1985). Required Licensure/Certification: ASCP certification State of Florida Clinical Laboratory licensure - Cytology Preferred
