Significant senior leadership experience within a College of Osteopathic Medicine, medical school, academic health center, or comparable health-professions institution. preferred
Experience working collaboratively with Graduate Medical Education programs and ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs. preferred
Experience developing faculty and building academic departments or educational programs. preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of five (5) years of proven academic leadership experience within the previous ten (10) years that includes budget management authority.
✓Demonstrated experience providing leadership within undergraduate medical education or an academic medical institution.
✓Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation, regulatory compliance, curriculum development, institutional assessment, and academic administration.
✓Strong understanding of osteopathic medical education and the principles and philosophy of osteopathic medicine.
✓Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and develop effective relationships with faculty, physicians, administrators, students, healthcare organizations, and community partners.
