Certifications
✓Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant Program or minimum of one year experience chair side and the ability to obtain Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) within 14 months of transfer or hire date required.
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon completion of unit orientation required, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
Dental assistant certification is preferred.
Education
✓High school education or equivalent required.
Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant Program preferred.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 18 years of age required.
✓Completion of radiography course/credits required.
✓Effective verbal and written skills required.
✓Ability to accomplish multiple tasks and prioritize activities required.
Experience in dental related office preferred.
Prior experience with customer service skills preferred.
