Development Intern

Development Intern Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a rising senior for the Development Internship to support senior living real estate development, market research, financial modeling, and investment analysis.

Gain hands-on experience evaluating real estate investment opportunities and development projects. Responsibilities Conduct real estate market research, demographic analysis, and supply-and-demand studies. Analyze competing senior living communities, including pricing, occupancy, unit mix, inventory, and market positioning.

Assist with financial modeling, investment underwriting, operating projections, and return analysis. Support site selection, due diligence, development feasibility, and investment evaluations. Gain exposure to real estate development, zoning, entitlements, permitting, financing, and construction.

Prepare Excel analyses, market reports, financial summaries, and PowerPoint presentations. Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field, with anticipated graduation the following academic year. Strong Microsoft Excel skills; PowerPoint experience preferred.

Coursework or experience in financial analysis, real estate, or investment research preferred. Strong analytical, quantitative, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented, dependable, proactive, and eager to learn.
