Qualifications
✓Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a professional fundraising role with a demonstrated ability to solicit and close gifts
✓Excellent verbal, written (proposals), and presentation skills
✓Ability to think strategically to plan, solicit, close, and steward gifts at various levels
✓Ability to develop substantive relationships with prospects and donors
✓Demonstrated ability to work with Board members and volunteers to raise gifts at various levels
✓Ability to work in a team environment to meet annual goals
✓Proficient in office computer technology, including Google applications
✓Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to and form relationships with the hospital family
✓Exhibit a level of personal and professional sophistication and style commensurate with the donor/prospect pool
Previous experience in healthcare fundraising preferred

About the role
As our Development Officer, you will serve as a key ambassador for our hospital’s mission, responsible for driving philanthropic growth through the planning and implementation of strategic giving programs. You will be the primary lead for cultivating revenue streams that directly support our hospitals and clinical service lines.
