You’ll need
Certifications
✓Current BLS certification.
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Completion of an approved phlebotomy course.
✓Valid driver’s license with no history of DWI conviction within the past 5 years or moving traffic violation for 3 years.
Experience as a phlebotomist (in a hospital setting preferred)/previous laboratory experience.
About the role
Primarily responsible for obtaining blood samples (venous and arterial) to include blood cultures, performing EKGs, nasal washings, throat cultures, nasopharyngeal swabs, and point of care whole blood glucose testing.
